About Llanfair Community Council

Following the recent uncontested election for St Hilary Ward there is currently one vacancy. If you wish to be considered for the vacancy please e-mail the Clerk at clerk@llanfaircommunitycouncil.gov.uk or write to The Clerk, 41 The Verlands, Cowbridge. Closing date for expressions of interest is 27th May 2022.

The next Meeting of the Community Council will be held on Thursday 9th June 2022 at 7pm, as a hybrid meeting but it is hopeful that the meeting will be held in St Hilary Village Hall. Llanfair Community Council represents the villages of St Hilary, Llandough and St Mary Church with The Herberts, situated in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The Community Council meets once a month, usually on the first Thursday in either St Hilary Village Hall or Llanfair Primary School.

There are eight councillors with five representing Llanfair Ward and three representing St Hilary Ward.

The administration of the Community Council is carried out by the Clerk /Responsible Financial Officer who is the only employee of the Council.
